The Dentist Who CARES
Growing up in a family of dentists, Dr. Durning Moore had originally wanted to be an engineer by trade. After much thought, he then realized that he could match the engineering side of his brain with dentistry. This led him to go to school to get his D.M.D. from Louisville Dental School in 2015.
Dr. Moore worked as a dentist associate for a while before purchasing Smile Moore Dental in March 2019. To fully embody the practice’s philosophy of care, Dr. Moore focuses on relational dentistry and ensuring that each patient that sits in the chair feels heard and cared for.

To do this, the team spends extra 1-on-1 time during cleanings, helps patients establish strong at-home routines, gives each patient a warm greeting in waiting room areas, and loves to engage in genuine conversation.
